Oh Baby: Hack your macros with baby food

Although I wasn't much of a muncher/snacker before, sometimes I like having tiny things to nibble on when I'm peckish but not totally starving. When the need to snack comes on, I don't like wasting my macros on food with high caloric density, like potato chips or junk food, which are full of "nasties" like artificial ingredients.

With this need in mind, I turned to baby food, which are low in calories, have healthier ingredients (because duh, they're for babies), and taste somewhat nostalgic (although I didn't think I even had any of these when I was an actual baby).

Note: I hope you believe me when I say that I'm not crazy, but I've loved baby food even beyond the whole "poverty macros" thing and I'm not on some weird "baby food diet."

Gerber Graduates:
All of these are available at SnR and Rustans Supermarkets

• Lil' Crunchies (Mild Cheddar)

Serving size: 16 pcs
35kcal | 2F | 4C | 0P

Guiltless cheese curls, really.
Best eaten while binge watching 90's TV shows on Netflix. (Adds to the nostalgia.)

• Arrowroot Cookies

For cookie cravings. Has the whole melt-in-your-mouth goodness (mainly because it's for teething infants).
Best paired with greek yogurt/vanilla ice cream.

• Puffs Cereal Snack (Sweet Potato, Banana, Strawberry-Apple)

Personally prefer the strawberry-apple followed by the banana flavour.
Tastes like Honey Stars, legit.
Best eaten while studying for finals and in need of something to stress eat.

______

Again, I'm not advocating a diet of PURELY baby food, unless you're an actual infant, but these are amazing snacks to keep in your car and pantry for when the need to snack whilst keeping consistant with your diet healthy lifestyle.
Have fun munching!
